Quinta da Murta is a 27 ha wine estate, located 25 km from Lisbon, in the hills of the very small demarcated region of Bucelas and in a remote, protected and spectacular area with a great diversity of flora and fauna.
Sustainable viticulture certified, the winery is privileging always “biodynamic” allowing to harvest high quality of grapes at low yield, and a natural wine making using indigenous yeast and a low temperature stabilization system without chemicals.
The vineyard is renewed with excellence on yearly basis, Lusitania Horse manure is now applied, and grasses naturally grow between the rows in the whole vineyard both to enhance health of the vines and quality of the grapes.

Visit and Wine Tasting
In a familial ambiance, we organize to the wine lovers, tourists or any other group unforgettable trips in our vines, winery and cellar before enjoying wine tasting or delicious regional food accompanied of our premium wines around a dressed table near the pool, in our cellar or event hall. Surrounding the wine estate, a former Wellington fortification and a former Roman road longing the wine estate still exists and can be part of Quinta da Murta experience.
